1. DHOP

The Dahua Hardware Open Platform (DHOP) is an open application platform that allows third-party applications to be downloaded and installed on Dahua Network Cameras. It provides end-users with the right solutions to optimize their security or loT environment. Flexibility is also guaranteed as users can always remove existing applications and upload new solutions.

1.     Open Application Platform: DHOP is designed to be an open platform, allowing third-party developers to create applications that can run on Dahua Network Cameras.

2.     Download and Installation:  Users can download and install third-party applications on Dahua Network Cameras, expanding the functionality of the devices beyond their native capabilities.

3.     Security Optimization: DHOP aims to provide users with the right solutions to optimize their security environment. This could involve adding specialized security applications to enhance surveillance capabilities.


4.     IoT Environment Optimization: In addition to security, DHOP may support applications that contribute to the optimization of the broader IoT environment, allowing users to integrate and manage various IoT devices.

5.     Flexibility: Users have the flexibility to remove existing applications and upload new solutions as their needs evolve or as new applications become available.

2. DSS (Digital Surveillance System):

is an all-in-one Central Management System (CMS) / Video Management System (VMS) that encompasses a wide range of features and functions within video surveillance. It manages IP cameras and recorders and is able to connect to third-party cameras via the standard ONVIF protocol.

Definition of Digital Video Surveillance System:

A Digital Video Surveillance System is an electronic system used for monitoring and recording video footage of a specific area for security purposes. It typically comprises of cameras, digital video recorders (DVR) or network video recorders (NVR), and a display monitor. The footage captured is often stored digitally and can be accessed remotely or analysed by security personnel.
